    Shelf Life

    Shelf life is five years from the date of receipt for this product as long as this product is stored in its original packaging in an environment below 80° F (27° C) and 60% RH.

    What are the features of ePTFE membrane?

    High temperature resistance - working temperature up to 250℃.

    Low temperature resistance - working temperature up to -180C.

    Weather resistance - with the best aging life in plastics.

    High lubrication - is the lowest friction coefficient in solid materials Non-adhesion - is the smallest surface tension in solid materials, does not adhere to any known solid substances.

    Corrosion resistance - inert to most chemicals and solvents, resistant to strong acids and alkalis, water and various organic solvents.

    Non-toxic - has physiological inertia, as artificial blood vessels and organs implanted in the body for a long time without adverse reactions.

    What are the functions of ePTFE as a new waterproof and breathable material?

    - Waterproof: 0.1-10μm microhole, the aperture is less than 10,000 times water beads, so that water can not pass through, effectively protect sensitive parts, avoid liquid erosion, improve product life.

    - Air permeability: the micropore diameter is 700 times greater than water vapor, waterproof at the same time, allowing air to pass smoothly, can effectively dissipate heat, prevent the inner wall of the product from forming fog, balance the internal and external space pressure.

    - Dust-proof: The microporous channel forms a mesh three-dimensional structure in the film, and the uniform and dense distribution of micropores makes the dust encounter a barrier, achieving an effective dust-proof effect, and the minimum can capture 0.1μm particles. Protection level: IP67.

    The waterproof grade of the waterproof breathable film

    The waterproof grade of the waterproof breathable film is divided into 9 categories according to the IP protection level:

    IPX-0: No waterproof protection;

    IPX-1: can eliminate the harmful effects of vertical falling water droplets; Under normal operation, the equipment can provide waterproof protection equivalent to 3-5 mm/min rainfall for 10 minutes;

    IPX-2: Protects water droplets falling within 15 degrees in the vertical direction; The level is basically the same as IPX-1, but it can pass the waterproof test with 15 degrees of upwarping in all directions;

    IPX-3: Can eliminate the harmful effects of spray water droplets with a vertical direction of 60 degrees; The 60° Angle splash waterproof protection provides a flow rate of 10 L/s for 2-5 minutes and a pressure of 80-100n/m;

    IPX-4: can eliminate the harmful effects of splashing water droplets from different directions; The level is basically the same as IPX-3, but can provide full range and Angle splash waterproof protection;

    IPX-5: can eliminate harmful effects on the jet flow of nozzles in all directions; All-round and angular waterproof protection, providing a flow rate of 12.5 l/s for 2-3 minutes and a pressure of 30n/m;

    IPX-6: can eliminate harmful effects on the powerful jet water flow of nozzles in all directions; Waterproof protection of large waves, which can last for 2-3 minutes against a depth of 3 meters underwater, a flow rate of 100 liters/minute, and a pressure of 100 N /m;

    IPX-7: Submerged 1 meter for 30 minutes;

    IPX-8: Thoroughly waterproof, can be used continuously in water for a long time;
